John D. Ivanko

John D. Ivanko is an award-winning photographer and author, and freelance journalist. He has traveled to over thirty-five countries spanning six continents. He can often be spotted walking through towns and villages wearing a big red backpack. John's writing or photography has been published in Islands, Wisconsin Trails, National Geographic Traveler, Sky, The Rotarian, Earth, E, & Fodor's Travel Guides.

When he is not traveling, John operates a nationally recognized bed & breakfast, Inn Serendipity, on an organic farm in Browntown, Wisconsin. The venues John has presented at include the Pennsylvania Environmental Congress (as keynote), the Midwest Renewable Energy Fair, Penn State University, Midwest Birding Symposium, New England Nature Expo, Birdwatch America Trade Show and the Monroe Arts Center.
