Open House at Inn Serendipity, Browntown, Wisconsin
"Energy Independence Day and the Good Life"

Join Lisa, John, and Liam for an all-day feast of friendships, food, fun and renewable energy. From 10am to 5pm, Inn Serendipity will host a farm celebration, welcoming those who yearn for a bit of the good life in the country.

The following provides a schedule of organized activities, although folks are encouraged to escape to a quiet reading spot under the willow tree as well. Self-guided tour booklets will be available so you can walk the grounds at any time. Guided tours led by John and Lisa will be at scheduled times. The day-long educational event is free of charge; the evening Piazza Potluck and Concert at the nearby PrairieHerb Farm is by donation for the performers. Bring along a dish to pass (to share with 5-6 people), and your questions about wind turbines, solar panels, squash and the employment world of free-agency. Help us finish off our greenhouse by bringing partial boxes or scraps of floor or wall tile sitting around in your basement or garage. Send us an e-mail if you have any other unwanted building materials you'd like to donate to confirm that we might be able to put them to good use. Of course, Liam can always use old boxes of LEGOS for future LEGO movies he has planned. We're also in search for a basic audio CD player that someone doesn't want/need anymore; yes, we still listen to CDs. Got an old single/twin bed/box spring that's in good shape that you want to get out of the attic, bring it along, too.

    Worth noting:
Please do NOT bring pets. Thanks for your understanding.
