The simply furnished A-frame cabin features two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with two single beds. It also offers a sleeping loft (sleeping up to two people). The cabin is open for rentals from Memorial Day weekend through mid-September. Advance reservations are encouraged, since reservations tend to fill up quickly. Last minute reservations are not possible.

Rates

Rates are noted below. Applicable taxes not included. Rates subject to change and subject to higher rates during special events and holidays.

• Friday (after 4pm) - Sunday (11 am), up to 2 days, $395

• Sunday (after 4pm) - Friday (11 am), up to 5 days, $625

• Full Week, up to 7 days, $795

Guests are responsible for their own food, food preparation and clean-up. Plenty of plates, silverware, kitchen utensils and drinking glasses and cups are provided. A stove, oven, microwave oven, drip coffee maker, wok, toaster and refrigerator/freezer are available. A cozy natural stone fireplace with a Lopi EPA-certified woodstove insert is provided for heat on chilly days or nights. Linens and some towels are provided; however, additional towels and personal items are suggested. A detailed "cabin visit tip sheet" is sent with your reservation confirmation to assist you in planning your visit. An emergency first aid kit and fire extinguisher are present. Smoke detectors are placed in every bedroom and in the kitchen.

To help restore the land, subsidize wildlife conservation efforts, and support area conservation initiatives and non-profit organizations, 10% of the rental fees are set aside for such purposes.

Policies

Reservations are confirmed with a $200 deposit for each week's lodging and the return of a signed rental agreement and signed liability waivers for each guest. A written acknowledgement is made upon receipt of deposit. Credit cards (Visa/MC) are requested for payment. Deposits will be refunded if cancellation is made 45 days prior to check-in. If notice of cancellation is made between 45 to 14 days prior to the reservation date, a gift certificate will be issued in the amount of the $200 deposit amount for use within two years of the cancellation date. Less than a 14-day notice of cancellation results in a full charge for the entire reserved period and the issuance of a gift certificate for this total amount for use within two years of the cancellation date. The minimum rental charge is $395. The cabin can accommodate up to six adults. Larger groups cannot be accommodated and the charge will be tripled should this policy not be respected and followed.

Check-in is 4 pm or later. Check-out is 11 am. An additional daily charge will be assessed at the rate of $125 if the check-in or check-out policy is not followed. For the comfort and safety of all our guests, no smoking is permitted. Due to the wildlife conservation efforts undertaken and the widespread presence of ticks, pets are not permitted.
