Our two guest rooms are each based on a different aspect of creativity: writing or music. Rates are per night, double occupancy and include a hearty, full vegetarian breakfast featuring organic goodies mostly from the farm's gardens as well as local cheeses and other fair trade, sustainable and/or organic items. Vegan and other dietary needs happily accommodated; please advise at time of booking. Applicable taxes not included in rates and rates subject to change. The visual and culinary arts are represented throughout our home, and your stay.

"The Writing Room"

A 1918 school desk, printing reel and an array of books create a tribute to the literary arts. Add your twist to Serendipity--A Novel In Many Parts, written by our guests. You'll also find assorted pens and paper around to inspire poems, journaling, love letters, etc.

"The Music Room"

Surround yourself with elements of music. A baritone uniquely serves as a lamp. Sheet music from the original release of "Snow White" hangs on one wall. The birds serenade you from their tree-side perch outside your window. A sunny, attached private porch is the perfect place to pick up a book and pass an afternoon reading--then enjoy an incredible view of the sunset.

Policies

Reservations are confirmed over the telephone and confirmed with a credit card (VISA, MC, Discover). Written confirmation is made upon receipt of deposit. Cash, check and credit cards (Visa/MC/Discover) are accepted for full payment upon check-out. There is no fee for cancellation if you cancel prior to 14 days before reservation date. If cancellation is made WITHIN the 14 day period prior to check-in, a $50 fee per night charge will be made to your credit card which is automatically converted into a gift certificate for use within one year of the originally scheduled stay.

Check-in is 4 pm or later, unless other arrangements have been made. Check-out is 11 am. For the comfort of all our guests, no smoking is permitted in the home. Children are welcome; please inquire regarding arrangements. Pets are not permitted; thanks for your understanding.

Please note that we keep the farmhouse cool the "old fashioned way" by opening the windows at night and sealing the house during the day. Fans are available in the bedrooms; however, there is no air conditioning in the rooms or the house.
